Failsafe Heating are a family run business, with our offices located in Mosborough Village, Sheffield. We currently employ a number of Gas Safe Registered Engineers and office staff, who are all friendly and will help with any issues you may have, be it Central Heating.
A big belief within Failsafe is that customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us, and to ensure that this is the case, we use only the highest quality products and external services to complement our own service.
Starting life back in 1978 as M.T. Miller, Martyn started an apprenticeship as a gas fitter in 1967 with the East Midland Gas Board at the Beighton Depot.(Yes there was a depot at Beighton). Being involved as a young engineer with the conversion from towns gas to natural gas, gave him good grounds for the fault finding and repairs that have run through to today’s modern appliances. Furthermore Martyn has trained and employed a number of apprentices in his time, some of whom still work for the company.
Martyn’s wife Barbara retired in 2015 after many years of running the administration side of the business, to maintained its family ethos Helen (Tom’s Sister In Law) became a director taking over Barbara’s role.
In 2017 Martyn retired from the company handing the Managing Director role over to his son Tom whom has been a director and engineer for many years at the company.
